Structured support, shaped around your team or your own needs.

Reactive

Critical Incident Debrief

Some events need a response straight away. When your team has been through a death, a serious safeguarding disclosure, a violent incident, or a case that's drawn wider attention, I provide a structured, facilitated space for the people involved to process what happened together, make sense of it, settle feelings and emotions, and find a way to move forwards.

This isn't about finding fault or fixing process. It's a space to say what happened, what it felt like, and what your team needs in order to carry on.

Suitable for: schools, hospitals and paediatric teams, CAMHS, social care and fostering teams, youth justice, charities and NGOs, and youth/academy sports clubs.

Proactive

Reflective Practice & Team Time

For teams who carry this weight routinely rather than after one incident, I run regular sessions (monthly or termly) that protect against the slow build-up of cumulative exposure and vicarious trauma.

I offer two formats, and organisations often use both:

  • Reflective sessions — a safe space to share the emotional impact of the work, without an expectation of finding solutions. Sometimes people just need to say it out loud among others who understand.
  • Learning and solution-focused sessions — structured facilitation aimed at drawing out shared learning and practical next steps from difficult experiences.

Suitable for the same range of organisations as above, on an ongoing retainer basis.

Individual

1:1 Reflective Supervision

For independent practitioners who work with children and young people on their own, outside an organisational structure — foster carers, independent therapists, freelance youth workers, and similar — I offer ongoing, confidential 1:1 supervision. This can also be commissioned by an organisation as part of a wider package, for example alongside team reflective practice, for a team lead or someone particularly exposed.

Suitable for: independent practitioners working closely with children and young people who want regular, protected space to reflect on their own, plus organisations wanting to add individual supervision to a team package.

About the sessions

All sessions are facilitated in person or online, sized to suit your team or your own needs, and built around confidentiality and psychological safety. Get in touch to discuss what would work best and I'll recommend the right format.
